How to Bounce E-mails
NOTICE!!! Our WebTv "upgrades" cause our bounce codes to change, we LOST the ability to bounce with the code I had Posted here once already. If the codes change again, I will update this page accordingly.
Please use the bounce codes below until further notice!
If you ever get an Email that has a really cool signature that you like and you want the images or audio out of it for yourself you can very easily get these codes.
When you bounce an Email it will send the message back to you except instead of displaying the actual images and audio it will give you the codes and URL's of the sig.
NOTE: It is considered very disrespectful to copy someones complete sig and use it for yourself, please do NOT do this. Use some of their images, or some of their audio, but never use all of their codes exactly like they show them.
The Lesson
1. Foward the Email that you want the codes for by clicking the "foward" icon in the menu bar to the left of the message, or hit your "Send" button on your keyboard.2. Now you will be in the "foward this message screen" where you put in the addy you want to send this message to. Send this message to Yourself.
3. Now in the body of your message (where you would write a message at) Hit your "Return" key TWO times. Now you will be on the third text line.
4. Now hold down the "Alt" key and press the "Z" key at the same time. This will put a "§" on the screen if you do it correctly. Good!
5. Now, press the "Return" key. Now you will be one line below the §.
6. Next press the arrow up key. It is the first key down below the "return" key. See the little arrow pointing up? Ok, good! This will put your cursor behind the §.
7. Now hold down your "Cmd" key and press the "A" key at the same time. If you do this correctly it will highlight the §.
8. Next hold down the "Cmd" key and press the "X" key at the same time. This will make the § dissappear! Good! (this is called "cutting" text)
9. Now go up to the subject line of the message. (it will already have the subject filled in because this is a foward of another message) ERASE all the subject text by pressing your "Delete" key til it is all gone.
10. Next, in the blank (because you just erased it) subject line hold down the "Cmd" key and press the "V" key at the same time. This will make the § re-appear! Excellent! (this is called "pasteing" text)
11. Hit your "Return" key, it will move the § down, that is OK, it is supposed to do that.
12. HIT THE SEND ICON! You did it!
13. Now you will get the message back, reload your mail list by pressing the "Mail" key. You will see the message you just sent yourself. View it.
First you will see the codes for your own signature, then below your codes you will see the codes for the message you fowarded!
The URL's of all the images and audios will be clickable. Simply click them to view them and transload the ones you want for yourself!
