What Is Transloading and How Do I Do It?

This page is being built because I get SO many people asking about how to and what exactly IS transloading while I am in chat.
Hopefully this page will help you "newbies" out there get started! Good Luck!

Transloading is a way to get ANY image you see on the net and take it to use for yourself. Some images you find will be clickable (like the images on my image pages) others will be embeded into an actual web page. YES, you CAN get these images! Cool huh? You will also learn how to transload audio files such a .wav, .ram, and .mid files!

First there are a few things you need to do to get yourself set up and ready to transload images or audios.

1. You need to sign up for your own personal web page somewhere. I like TheGlobe the best, because you can link to your images and audio files for use in your e-mail signatures from TheGlobe, Tripod and Geocities have taken this capability from their users. Since most webtver's want their images solely for the purpose of linking to them in their E-mail sigs, why get a web page somewhere that does not allow this? OK, so to get your own web page at TheGlobe go HERE.

2. OK, now that you have YOUR own web page, you need to learn how to use the transloader! The first step, ovbiously, is to go get the Transloader from HERE and save it in your favorites. You will need to put this transloader on one of your "F-keys". To put something you have saved in your favorites on one of your "F-keys" on the top row of your keyboard, go into your favorite folders, choose the folder you saved the transloader in, click where it says "organize" in your sidebar on the screen, then click where it says "Shortcuts", next choose the Transloader from the list of sites you have in that folder, then scroll down and click "done" at the bottom of that screen, then choose the "F-key" that you want to save the trasloader on from the next screen, then cick "done" at the bottom of that screen. Now you have the Transloader on your F-key! Excellent!

3. Now press the F-key to go to the transloader and take a nice long look at it. Memorize what it looks like, confusing isn't it? Don't worry, it will all make sense soon! To learn what each field on the transloader does and what you need to type into it, go HERE. If you are still not sure how to use the transloader there is another tutorial on the transloader page itself, check it out also. Of course, you can always write me and I will try to explain it to you!
NOTE: the FTP address for TheGlobe is ftp.theglobe.com so if you get a TheGlobe account, that is what you will type in the transloader.

4. Ok, so now you have your web page and you know how to use the transloader. Go to one of my image pages and test it out. Simply click on the image name I show and it will take you to the image itself. While you are looking at the image click your "F-key" that the transloader is on. Now you will be at the transloader and the URL of the image you want off my page is already in the transloader for you. Fill in the rest of the transloader like you learned how in the tutorials, then transload it! For an audio file, click the audio name, then when it plays, hit your "goto" key on your keyboard, then click where it says "show LAST". This is the URL of the audio file. You need to copy this URL. The easiest way is to click your "cmd" key and the "A" key at the same time (this highlight's it), then click your "cmd" key and the "C" key at the same time. You will hear a little click when it copies it if your volume is turned up. Then, for audio, click your "F-key" that the transloader is on. Now you will be at the transloader and the URL of the WEBPAGE will be in the file to be copied area. You will Have to ERASE this URL and put in the URL of the audio file that you just copied. Then just fill in the rest of the transloader like you learned how in the tutorials, then transload it just like for an image! You should get a screen that says it logged in to your account and saved the file on your server, and it will give you a link to the image or audio which is now ALL YOURS on YOUR web page! If the link does not work do not worry, just go to your web page file manager and it should be there.

5. Now you have learned how to transload images and audios which are clickable on a web page. But what if the image you want is not clickable? You Validate the web page the image is on! To get the validator go HERE, and then save it on a different "F-key" just like you did the transloader. To validate a web page to get the images off of it, go to the web page the images are on and click the F-key that the validator is on while you are looking at the page. This will take you to the validator and the URL of the web page will already be in the validator for you. There are two boxes on the validator, you want to click the one that says "get clickable images", the second table down on that page. This will take a minute or two, but when you get to the next screen, simply scroll down and all the images on that web page will be clickable links that you can view. Click into the image you want to transload and then just transload it just like before! I know this is complicated, but it gets easy with practice, I promise!

6. You now know how to Transload images that are clickable, and how to steal images which are NOT clickable! Isn't this fun? Go have a ball!
